Rose Red
An inoffensive cream-city brick building on the corner of the street, Rose Red is the central hub and bar that the Syndicate runs. Though Rosalin has her own apartment in an unknown but close location, the Oba of the pack sleeps here a great deal in the living space above the bar, and therefore it is a good location to reach her in. On the inside, cherry-red leather, red lacquer and polished wood dominate, clean architectural lines and total faux-biker full-on gay bar. It's obvious that money has been sunk into Rose Red, and it has a welcoming -- though some would say slightly sinister -- hyper-trendy atmosphere. - 4 Topics

The Devouring
The hyenas gather the night before the full moon. Much like the rest of their modus operandi, there is very little ritual there unless the Oba decides she wants it; the Devouring in general, in fact, is simply what sets the hyenas apart from the other lycanthropes in terms of dignity and respect -- it's sex, eating, and fighting, generally all at once, a free-for-all in which the Oba smacks everybody around and hurts at will and redisplays her dominance over the entire pack. There is no hunt: the hyenas scavenge. They are controlled by what the oba wills -- if she wants them to go and mess around by the river or scrounge around in the garbage tip, that's what they do. New hyenas have a sharp learning curve. If they are too foolish or too needy, their lives generally end at their first Devouring.
Really, the Devouring is a mess of sex, pain and bitchslapping: nothing less, nothing more. - 0 Topics
